I can’t help it. They are what is blooming right now and I am constantly drawn back to them, no matter how many photos I’ve taken of them already.
I love their bright sunny faces.
I just remembered that they are from the family asteraceae, which includes sunflowers, calendula, echinacea, chrisanthamums, dahlias and zinnias, all of which I also love.
Guess you’ll be seeing a lot of asteraceae images from me.
Didn’t feel like going out for a photograph today. This was taken in my window. I like the grungy textures and the shadows.
Unlike the other images I made, I took this photo looking up with the grey sky in the background which enabled me to bring up the exposure in Lightroom brightening the Daffodils and turning the sky white (the first time I did that it was with irises in the snow, but I’m pleased this worked the same way!).
